This whiskey can be traced back to a Baptist minister, Reverend Elijah Craig, who opened the first distillery in Fayette County, Kentucky. This is a whiskey born in the United States that is characterized for being made with corn as the main ingredient, for its caramel color, its high alcohol concentration and its aging in new oak barrels.
